Guard Force Scenario Planner

Guard Force now supports automated patrol activations using the Scenarios tool.

 

Guard Force

  • In version 6.3.4 we introduced new validation fields intended for planning a guard patrol tour. Using the incident form, Admin can plan a route that includes the following validation fields::

    • Location Pin: predefine POI + radius validation, with optional mobile alerts

    • NFC Tag Validation: UID-based validation; with optional mobile alerts

    • QR/Barcode Validation: scan code and validate against predefined value or with dynamic incident details; with optional mobile alerts

  • In this version, we are leveraging the Scenarios tool to plan multiple guard patrol routes:

    • Use the table and Gantt view to plan sequence of guard patrols

    • Plan recurring plans for guard patrols

    • Assign specific guards to tasks within a scenario


    • Combine Guard Force tools with Scenarios for fully automated scheduling

This video demonstrates how to create guard patrol routes using the GuardForce feature.

Asset Lookup – Person Lookup

Responders can now run Person Lookup against watchlists using image snapshots.

  • Capture or upload an image via the mobile app

  • Send the snapshot to the FaceDetect server (cloud-based)

  • Receive instant feedback on potential matches against watchlists

  • Review details of match

  • Configure which watchlists responders can access under Policy settings

  • On a positive match, responders may trigger a new incident for escalation

PTT Ad-hoc Channels for Android

We have completed Phase 3 of the PTT engine replacement, bringing Android into alignment with iOS.

  • Ad-hoc Channels: responders can initiate 1:1 or group push-to-talk chats

  • Licensing Updates:

    • Separate licenses are now required for Mobile PTT and Web (Dispatcher) PTT

    • User profiles cannot include both license types simultaneously

    • Pricebook updated with new part numbers for:

      • Annual SaaS subscription

      • Monthly add-on (between annual renewals)

      • Annual PTT license for perpetual customers (PTT is not offered as perpetual license)

KLEINE Headset Integration

NowForce 6.3.5 introduces support for KLEINE headsets, both Bluetooth and wired models, for Android and iOS devices.

For wired iOS headsets, we recommend using the Kleine Curl model.
